RF Biocidics has put together a unique team of microbiologists, engineers, mathematicians, food scientists, and experienced food safety professionals to provide specific solutions for our customers. We are not just an equipment company. As a food safety solutions company, we assess and define microbiological requirements, build corresponding mathematical models, assist our customers in the development of an economic framework, navigate regulatory requirements and ,ultimately, design and build custom process systems. Executive Team

Craig Powell - President/Chief Executive Officer

Powell joins RF Biocidics from Superior Farms, where he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He brings more than 20 years of successful management and operations experience in the food industry, having also served as General Manager for Pacific Coast Producers, Director of Operations for The Produce Exchange, and Director of Operations for Musco Olive Products. Powell started his career in the food industry at Nestle and ConAgra Foods. He earned his BS in Food Science & Engineering from the University of California-Davis and an MBA in Finance & Accounting from the Graduate School of Management, University of California-Davis.

Charley Phillips - Vice President of Sales

Phillips joins RF Biocidics from Atlas World Food and Agriculture, where he served as chief marketing officer and VP, Sales for four years. While at Atlas, Phillips helped the company expand global sales — experience that will be beneficial to RF Biocidics, whose sales network extends to Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. Phillips also previously worked at Sysco Food Service of California, where he successfully developed winning sales strategies for a variety of markets, oversaw national accounts and multi-unit contracts, and executed on marketing programs.

Dr. Parastoo Yaghmaee – Vice President of Process Technology

A Ph.D. graduate in food science from the University of British Columbia, Yaghmaee previously served as a senior scientist at EnWave Corp., where she collaborated with engineers on the design of new equipment in industrial process development. She also oversaw research at EnWave that included analyzing the effect of the company’s radiant energy vacuum dehydration technology on probiotics and food culture, as well as its impact on enzymes and antibodies.

During Yaghmaee’s more than two decades in the field of food science, she also served as a food quality control/quality assurance manager and a thermal process specialist, with responsibilities that included performing process validation as well as determining pasteurization and sterilization processes for companies.
